he knows her footsteps and begins to whinny as she gets closer. he’s 19 years old and he gets spooked easily. when he hears unfamiliar noises, her little hand rubs his nose and tells him it’s ok and he is instantly soothed. kaylin and ghost have such a special relationship but she has her hopes on the olympics and has outgrown this old horse. she wanted some special pictures with this gentle giant who has become a constant companion before she has to say goodbye.
note to self: i must get a pair of these polka dotted treasures for my feet
kaylin was especially beautiful when she rode
and since i had never ridden or even touched a horse before, this was a verrry special morning for me as well.
