i love being her friend. she’s warm and insightful, silly and creative. and she’s a new mama. i didn’t stop over intending to take pictures but when i stepped inside ben’s nursery, i couldn’t help myself. heather is not the buy-a-nursery-in-a-bag type of girl. (not that there is anything wrong with that for us girls who are less gifted in the art of interior design) but that’s just not her. she scours craig’s list for treasures that need a little artistic love, she spends hours in fabrics stores piecing together colors and textures until the vision in her head materializes into a baby bumper. i wish i would’ve taken more pics of the details in ben’s room, but i was so distracted by the way she looked at her son, that i couldn’t take my lens off of them. check out her super cute mobile handmade by her stepmother:

ohhh..this next picture is so lovely. it's like time stopped because heather asked it to just so she could breathe in all of her boy's yumminess.
