the air was so thick with their love for each other that it was hard to catch my breath. even still, looking through the images of their family, my heart speeds. they are a comfortable tangle of skinny elbows, bruised knees and tiny, tan, bare feet. they do life together about as good as any family i’ve ever seen. i’m feeling really grateful for the unique opportunity i have to step into the lives of families and attempt to snap their love into still images. thank you, thank you, thank you.
