looking through these images over the last two days, i am brought back to this day in birmingham, alabama. the bride, the groom, the sunshine, the love, the details, become more beautiful every time i go there. i had to break this post up into two parts because i just couldn’t choose. thank you rachel and michael for inviting us into such sacred space. we are incredibly honored to call you friends. we love you..a whole lot.

Between the beautiful bride and groom and wedding party and the way you as the photographer saw things that others would not have I am in awe. it was hot, like sweat through your clothes kind of hot. and cooper is one, like i just want to hit the ground running kind of one. in order to get a picture of his adorable face, we had to throw him, squeeze him and flip him upside down. *disclaimer: no child was harmed in the taking of these pictures. at the end we were all dripping wet and exhausted, but it was worth it.
