it’s like they all ingested glow sticks before our photo shoot.
they are that shiny and it comes from knowing way down deep to whom they belong.
they are the lucky ones.

in her words: ‘our love story began on the sixth floor of unc hospital, when mike was just beginning his third year of medical school and i was starting my final year of internal medicine residency. as i was jotting down last minute lab data and gathering my team for daily rounds, i noticed a rather tall, handsome and very nervous appearing medical student hiding behind the rolling computers in the corner of the nursing station. thinking that if he was too shy to stand in the middle of the nurses station, he would not cause me or my interns any trouble during the rotation. “you’re on my team,” i shouted.’

What an absolutely gorgeous couple – I love the pictures of them walking and kissing down the aisle. Perfect.
the first time we took pictures of weston he was a newborn and he slept the entire time.
weston just got a new little brother, colton, who slept during the entire shoot this time.
weston on the other hand, did not.
he is now a stick wielding, energy filled, no doubt 100% boy.
it was hard to focus on him as he moved throughout the yard, down the driveway, and up the sidewalk.
i’m pretty sure that grass stains and skinned up knees are weekly if not daily occurrences for weston and i am pretty sure that it won’t be long until colton is following close behind him.
