my eyes are so tired from staring at this computer screen. i’ve been working overtime trying to finish up all of my editing and posting so that i can have some guilt-free time off over christmas. i’ve had these pictures in this post for about 30 minutes now and i keep typing and erasing. typing and erasing. i just can’t think of the right words tonight. nothing clever or creative is coming to me. chris suggested that i let him write it and this is what he came up with:

wow, i don’t know why i don’t hand over the blog to him more often. sorry, emma jane. i think you’re adorable. when you flap your little arms like a baby bird trying to take flight, i can’t keep from squealing. when your papa plays peek-a-boo with you and you show us your two teeth grin, i melt.
if you think those toes are cute..just wait until you see her face
