the office

this post has nothing to do with the tv show though i must admit, i love michael scott. and although i’m a huge fan of the whole dunder mifflin crew, this post is about my new office. we’ve been in our home for 5 years and have left our third bedroom empty for the hopes that it would soon become a nursery. and while we’re still hopeful that the God who filled the sky with stars will one day fill our home to the brim with little ones, we decided to make better use of the room while we wait. i bought the curtains first from my favorite store EVER, anthropologie, and went from there. here is the run down on some of my favorite things in my new space. 

1. fresh flowers. love them. have them everywhere in my house all the time. 2. the coolest oldschool clock 3. a card from my sweet and super supportive sister, stephanie. she mailed it to me right after i started my business. i keep it right by my desk..it makes her feel close. 4. sunny rug from pottery barn 5. my contract binder and a yellow basket thingy that i stole  from my sister’s house – with her permission, of course 6. a flowerless vase from anthropologie that just makes me happy  7. magazine holder  8. my girly, girly light.

9. this was supposed to be for laundry detergent but it was too heavy for me to pull off the shelf. alternative use..business card holder. 10. my bank full of decaf vanilla latte money 11. weird to put a picture of my garbage can on here, but i really like it. 12. the most decadent smelling candle on the planet from anthropologie..are you seeing a pattern here? 13. THE curtains. 14. my natural woven baskets that hold supplies. 15. the spot where chris sits when he visits me in my new, inspiring, get-my-creative-juices-flowing office.
