we have SO been enjoying a little time off to rest and spend some time with each other and two of our favorite little people. we took our niece and nephew to blowing rock to play in all of the snow a couple of days ago. we drove up and bought some sleds, shared a caramel apple and then headed to a secret hill we heard about right off the parkway. the sky, the snow..it was beautiful. their giggles were beautiful. being a photographer is a reallllly great job for which we are grateful, but being an aunt and uncle..whoa. there are no words.

it was the first time addie had ever played in the snow and she couldn't get enough of it.
my mom snapped this one of all of us heading up the hill and i love it
had i known that i was going to be in so many of the pictures, i would've brushed my hair.
and because i know my jack and will are asking their mommy to read this to them over and over..i love you. kiss your sister. i'll see you in 11 days!
